The miniature t-rex in my change pocket has been joined by a naked flash drive. What exactly would a teeny-tiny thunder-lizard be? Is there a word for the thunder when the storm is already gone? Or maybe more like a tummy-rumble-lizard? Anyways, the nekkid flash drive (you know, it would be better if the light on it was red instead of blue. That would make the nudity more poignant, rather than a side effect of my brother's mistreatment of it in the past) has photos to stop at Ritz and get printed sometime on my way to whole foods for dinner. But that some day will not be today, as I have to go home and go to the library. (I will also be stopping at the library on my way home to go the library. The libraries don't know I'm seeing the other one. Shhhh.) I have a nice collection of things to crop and print out in 3x5, 2.5x3, and 2x2 sizes. I will probably be good and resize them on my computer at home. I can always lay them out on normal sized canvases in photo shop, and then chop them up on the paper cutter here. And I probably could use the practice with photo shop.
In other news, one of my work sites is trying to make me crazy. Seriously. It didn't work for me. I checked with a coworker. It didn't work for her. I emailed the webops group. They emailed back "it works just fine. Is there a specific page that isn't working for you?" I thought, "Curse that internet" and checked the site. Which still wasn't working for me, but worked for my entire chat room. And also didn't work for the other coworker. I emailed the local support people, since clearly that was a problem with our part of the connection. One was out. The other emailed me today to ask if it was working for me. I had already checked, since I had to check a few things for the offshore team (which is why I kept looking at it.), and it was working for me just fine all morning. I emailed her back and maybe an hour later? went to check something else, and got error messages all around. So back to her, back to the chat room, no one else could see it, back to webops, which mucked around with things somewhere in the back end (the 'server' issue) and now it works as much as it ever did, which unfortunately includes pages which actually are broken links and I'm fairly sure after the 46 emails about this that just went all around (including from their boss) that they think I'm a) crazy and b)a pain in the ass. And I'm not saying they're wrong about either of those things! I'm just saying, this isn't the proof!
